So You Want to Look Like Justin Bieber?
So… You want to look like Justin Bieber? Let’s be honest with ourselves, who wouldn’t want to look like him. One 33 year old man definitely wanted it enough to spend nearly $100,000 for these procedures to look exactly like the young pop star. Toby Sheldon, a song writer, has spent all his savings to give himself the eyes and smile like Bieber. The procedures include: Botox injections, hair transplants, and a smile surgery. The musician states, “It’s Justin’s smile that gives him his youthful look. So I had my upper lip lifted [and] my bottom lip plumped out”. Call us crazy, but we think that any 19 year old will look youthful when compared to a 33 year old man. We’ll save the visuals and let you google those images yourself. Needless to say, the individual doesn’t resemble Justin Bieber very much.
On the other side, Marilyn Monroe was reported to have had plastic surgery in the past. Some of the physician’s notes dating back to the 1950s surfaced this month and will be auctioned off next month. Along with the physician’s notes are a set of six x-rays that will offer a partial medical history of Marilyn. These x-rays include: the frontal facial bones, a composite right and left X-ray of the sides of her nasal bones, and dental x-rays. A set of three chest x-rays from 1954 sold for $45,000 in 2010.
Some other relevant news that has been floating around pop culture was the birth of North West, the son of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Kim has been reported to have undergone multiple plastic surgeries. Kayne has reportedly refused to allow Kim to get any more surgeries especially since he lost his mother because of plastic surgery complications. Kim wanted to get a tummy tuck right after giving birth to North West.
