Rhinoplasty Case #121

This is a 23 year old young lady who works in management for an apartment complex in the Woodlands. She came in to our office in Webster, Texas to consult for a rhinoplasty. She desired improvement in breathing as well as in appearance of her nose. On examination her nose had a modest dorsal hump and the tip was widened. Internally, exam did reveal a deviation of the septum. The recommendation would be for a rhinoplasty with dorsal hump reduction, tip reduction and refinement and turbinate reduction. The procedure was performed in our private surgical suite and the patient went home the same day. Seven days after her procedure, the splint was removed and although there was still quite a bit of swelling her nose looked great. She reported improvement in breathing and was thrilled with her results.
