Breast Augmentation Case #143

This is 37 year old CRNA who works for Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston’s medical center.  She is interested in a breast augmentation. During her consultation, the examination revealed bilateral B cup breasts with no dominant masses. However, the left breast had a little bit more glandular ptosis than the right and was about 30cc larger in volume, otherwise they were nicely shaped. The recommendation was for breast augmentation using saline implants. The procedure took place in our private surgical suite in Webster, Texas, where the surgeon used an inframammary incision to place the 300cc saline implants in a submuscular position. Then, in order to achieve the look the patient desired, overfilled the implants to 360ccs. The surgery was successful and the patient went home the same day. She had a great recovery and was able to return to work light duty in a week and full duty a week later. She was thrilled with her results and her overall experience with our facility.
