Breast Augmentation with Mastopexy Case #119

She is a 37 year old mother of two who works as a teacher in Friendswood, Texas. She arrived at our office interested in cosmetic improvement of her breasts. On examination in our office in Webster, Texas, she was 5’4”, 150 pounds, her breasts had grade II ptosis with nipple to sternal length of 24 cm.  Nipples were slightly medially placed, with the lower pole a little bit foreshortened.  There are no dominant masses. The recommendation would be for a periareola mastopexy with a breast augmentation.The procedure was performed at our private surgical suite, where the surgeon placed 325cc saline breast implants in a submuscular position using an areolar incision. Both implants were then overfilled to 375ccc in order to achieve the look the patient was after. The surgery was a success and the patient went home the same day. The surgery took place during the summer break from school so the patient was not rushed to get back to work, in fact, she was able to enjoy a relaxed family vacation in Florida before the start of the new school year.
