Nipple Reduction Case #61

This is a 51 year old recently divorced mother of two. She is self employed and lives in Pearland, Texas. She is considering a breast enhancement. During her consult in our office in Webster, Texas, her examination revealed bilateral A cup breasts with severe involutional atrophy and very soft breast tissue with prominent nipples. The recommendation was for a breast augmentation using silicone gel implants in combination with a nipple reduction. The procedure took place in our private surgical suite, where the surgeon placed 375cc silicone gel implants in a submuscular position using an inframammary incision. It was then followed by a bilateral nipple reduction using the “Moliver forceps”. The surgery was successful and the patient went home the same day. She reported her nipples had healed within 10 days and the final result of her augmentation followed 6 weeks later when the implants dropped in to place.
